About Bones Kennels
Family Oriented
For almost 10 years, Bones Kennels have raised puppies in a loving, family oriented setting. Our amazing
four children, Amber (11), Andre (9), Angela (4) and Allyssah (3), including the youngest, love helping out with the puppies. We often
find puppies draped across my son or daughter's lap as they are doing their homework. My puppies are very well socialized because of the unconditional love and attention my children give them. The mother dogs have their own bedroom in my house, which we call the maternity ward. There they whelp their puppies in a comfortable and quiet atmosphere. The puppies stay in our home until they go to their new ones, where they enjoy a happy and healthy life.
Breeding Practices
We have had all of our adults since they were puppies. We feel that this is the best way to not only have the dogs know and understand our expectaions for behavior, but then we also get to know what behaviors they will pass on. They enjoy the wide, outdoor spaces our acreage provides as a puppy and into adulthood. This keeps them happy, heathy, and obedient.
When we do choose to use outside dams and sires, we select from only highly recommended reputable breeders.
Our Mother dogs skip a heat in between litters depending upon their cycle. The health of the mother is the most important factor when raising puppies.
